These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and UNLIPARSE ("we", "us", or "our") and govern your access to and use of our website and free data extraction tools (the "Service"). Please read them together with our Privacy Policy. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using UNLIPARSE in any way — including by uploading a document, viewing extracted output, or downloading results — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that organization.
2. Description of the Service
UNLIPARSE provides free, browser-based tools that extract key-value data points — automatically or based on a user-defined template — from documents and images you upload. The Service supports common file formats and offers structured output you can download for use in your own systems.
- Supported input formats — PNG, JPG, PDF, TIFF, SVG, WebP, GIF, and BMP.
- Output formats — JSON, Excel, CSV, and XML.
- Templates — you may create, save, and upload templates that define the structure of the extracted output.
- No account required — you can use the Service without registering or signing in.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Account and Access
UNLIPARSE does not require you to create an account. Because there is no login, any templates, preferences, or settings you save are stored locally in your browser as described in our Privacy Policy. Clearing your browser data, switching browsers, or using a different device may remove that information.
We may apply reasonable technical limits — such as rate limits, file-size limits, and abuse-prevention mechanisms (e.g., CAPTCHA) — to keep the Service available and free for everyone.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for the use you make of any extracted output.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:
- Upload unlawful or infringing content — including content you do not have the legal right to submit, content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or content that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise illegal.
- Submit malicious files — such as malware, viruses, exploit payloads, or files designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to any system.
- Bypass technical safeguards — including rate limits, CAPTCHA, file-size limits, or any access controls.
- Scrape, mirror, or resell the Service — including the use of automated agents, crawlers, or unauthorized APIs to extract content from UNLIPARSE in bulk.
- Reverse engineer — decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying models of the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Interfere with the Service — including denial-of-service attempts, probing for vulnerabilities, or overloading our infrastructure.
- Use the output for high-stakes decisions without independent human review — see "Automated Extraction and Accuracy" below.
- Misrepresent yourself — including impersonating any person or entity.
7. Your Documents and Content
You retain all ownership rights in the documents, images, and other content you upload to UNLIPARSE ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transmit, process, and analyze Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (including transmitting the file to the third-party processing provider that performs the extraction). This license terminates when the extraction is complete and the file is no longer needed to deliver the requested output.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights, consents, and permissions necessary to upload Your Content and to allow it to be processed as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
8. Templates
You may create, upload, and save extraction templates that define the structure of the output. You retain ownership of the templates you create. Saved templates are stored locally in your browser as described in our Privacy Policy; we do not maintain a server-side copy associated with you.
You are responsible for backing up any templates that are important to you. We are not liable for the loss of templates resulting from clearing browser data, browser updates, hardware failure, or other events outside our reasonable control.
9. Automated Extraction and Accuracy
The Service uses automated visual and language analysis to extract structured data from your documents. Automated extraction is inherently probabilistic and may produce results that are inaccurate, incomplete, mis-labeled, or otherwise unsuitable for your purpose. Output quality varies depending on the input file, the underlying provider, and the structure of the document.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the extracted output before relying on it. You agree not to use the Service as the sole basis for decisions that have legal, medical, financial, safety, or other significant consequences without independent human review by a qualified person.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service depends on third-party providers — including the AI processing provider that performs the extraction, hosting and infrastructure providers, content-delivery networks, and abuse-prevention services. Your use of the Service may be subject to the terms and policies of those providers, in addition to these Terms.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or any websites linked from the Service. See our Privacy Policy for more information about how data is handled by our processors.
11. Our Intellectual Property
The Service — including its name, logo, design, code, text, graphics, and all other content we provide (other than Your Content) — is owned by UNLIPARSE or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes. This license does not grant you any right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service or its content, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
12. Privacy
Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UNLIPARSE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the extracted output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL UNLIPARSE, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.
BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU IN FULL.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless UNLIPARSE and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) Your Content or the use of any extracted output; (c) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; or (d) your infringement of the rights of any third party.
16. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time and for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, are abusing the Service, or are creating risk for us, other users, or third parties. We may also remove or refuse to process content that violates these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.
17. Changes to the Service
We are continuously improving UNLIPARSE and may add, modify, or discontinue features, file formats, output options, or the Service itself, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
19. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of UNLIPARSE is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and UNLIPARSE agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that country for the resolution of any such dispute, except where prohibited by applicable law. If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection laws grant you additional rights or require disputes to be heard locally, those protections continue to apply and prevail over this section to the extent of any conflict.
20. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be replaced with one that most closely reflects the original intent. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and UNLIPARSE regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements between you and us regarding the Service.
